Hi I'm Tamsin, the founder and owner of Happy cats :)

Having always shared a special bond with cats from a young age I had wanted to be a vet for as long as I can remember. I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2015 and have worked in a variety of small local vet practices, large veterinary hospitals and volunteered for PDSA in the UK as well as for several charities abroad. 

In April 2021, I started an advanced certificate in Feline practice and my dream to create a cat-only clinic started to become a reality. I have also undergone extensive training in emergency medicine and surgery as well as a variety of more holistic courses such as veterinary acupuncture.

I currently live with my 7 mischievous rescue cats Teddy, Pumpkin, Jimmy, Pecan, Raj, Sati and Tam. They are my purrbabies and I'm super passionate about providing a service that I would want for my cats, whilst also being kind to the planet. I'm a big believer in preventative holistic health care, good quality diet which is species appropriate and understanding our feline friends behaviour better so we can really let them live their best lives!

I also love Yoga and teach and help run the studios @The Courtyard, where the cat clinic is also located
